Story Of আলাপ
সুরের ঐতিহ্য, সাধনার পথ
Anwai Roy , daughter of the respected Kalipada Roy , grew up in an atmosphere where music was not simply heard — it was lived, practised and deeply respected. From her early years, Anwai's journey was shaped by riyaaz , discipline and a profound love for Indian classical music. The musical values she inherited from her family became the foundation of her own journey as a vocalist and teacher.
Through Aalaap Sangeet Academy , Anwai continues to share this heritage with young learners. Her teaching focuses not only on swara, raga and tanpura , but also on patience, expression, confidence and the joy of discovering one's own musical voice. As a disciple of my parents and guru I started my journey of learning indian classical vocal music from five years of age , I also invent raag in world of classical music
“সুরের মধ্যে নিজেকে খুঁজে পাওয়াই সংগীতের আসল আনন্দ।”
— Anwai Roy
